Tropical storm warning in effect for Guam, CNMI

A tropical storm warning has been issued for Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan.
As of 1:20pm, officials with the National Weather Service Guam confirmed now tropical depression 14W has formed southeast of Guam and is expected to pass the island as a tropical storm on Wednesday.
A tropical storm warning means that tropical storm force winds of at least 39 mph are expected within 24 hours.
A flood watch remains in effect for all of Guam and the Northern Marianas.
The center of tropical depression 14W was located about 195 miles southeast of Guam with the storm traveling west at 9 mph with an intensity of 30 mph.
Officials remind the community that now is the time to prepare for low-end tropical storm conditions.
