Department of Administration director briefs senators on AG's investigation

$10.4 million.
That's how much the Department of Administration requested for its Fiscal Year 2025 budget.
Agency director Ed Birn says presented DOA's request before senators this week.
He also spoke briefly on the attorney general's investigation into the 22 Government of Guam agencies that include his department as well.
"On Monday, we received from the Attorney General a withdrawal of the three letters that he sent us. We are not really sure what this means and I don't think we've actually seen anything that was previously held up at the Attorney General yet emerge back to the agency. So we are kind of in a waiting mode to see what will happen with that. I hope it's a move in the right direction. We want government to move forward, not sideways or backwards," he said.
Birn adds he awaits more information from the AG's Office.
