A total of 15 beaches made the Guam Environmental Protection Agency's polluted list this week. Officials tested 42 samples on thursday finding that these waters were polluted above the accepted bacteriological standards.

Here’s the list:

In Hagat – Bangi Beach, Nimitz Beach, North Agat Marina, and Togcha Beach.

In Asan – Adelup Beach Park and Asan Bay Beach.

In Dededo – Tanguisson Beach.

In Hagatna – Hagatna Bayside Park, Hagatna Channel and West Hagatna Bay Park.

In Piti – Piti Bay and Santos Memorial.

In Talo’fo’fo’ – Talo’fo’fo’ Bay.

And in Tamuning – Dungca’s Beach and East Hagatna Bay.

The public is reminded swimming or fishing in unsafe waters could result in illnesses especially for children and the elderly.
