A convicted robber is back in prison after being accused in a car theft reported in Tamuning Friday morning.

Nevermind Urumeyang, 25, also known as Inachok Uru and Navs Phillipz, is charged with theft by receiving as a second-degree felony.

According to a magistrate’s complaint, Guam police officers got the call that a silver 2020 Nissan Rogue was reported stolen from a used car lot in Tamuning.

Authorities tracked down the stolen car to a home in Sinajana.

Urumeyang allegedly denied knowing the car was stolen, adding he got it from a friend, whose name was not disclosed to police.

Officer note the car had several modifications including a painted black bumper, painted black rims, and various sizes of dents.

Urumeyang was also convicted in a 2019 armed robbery reported at San Jose Mart in Maite, according to KUAM News files.
