The discussion on cultural and natural resource protection was among the issues brought up during a visit Friday to Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz with the Lt. Governor's of Guam and the CNMI.

CNMI Lt. Governor David Apatang joined Guam's Lt. Governor Joshua Tenorio and their staff to tour the base.

The leaders were there to better understand the future of marine corps presence on Guam.

During the tour, the group visited the main cantonment and the live fire training range complex to see where the marines would live, work, along with protection efforts of the cultural and natural resources and future civilian job growth.
