Right now, in classrooms across the island, lies the future of our tomorrow–the next generation of educators, tradespeople, government leaders, and even broadcasters.

KUAM getting the opportunity to share some workforce insight with the bright minds at jose rios middle school in piti for the home of the voyager’s career day. 

8th graders trying their hand at what it's like to conduct an interview–with one student operating the camera and the other as the interviewee. 

KUAM guiding the young journalists through the topic, “what does Mes CHamoru mean to you?” 

Amaryah said,"Embracing our culture and letting everyone understand what happened with our people and ancestors and all that.”  Amaree added, “To me, Mes CHamoru means embracing our culture and letting everyone understand what happened with our people and ancestors and all that.” And Jeniah-Lyn commented, “It means to celebrate our ancestors and tell people about them.”
