After being on an alternating schedule since the beginning of the academic year, Inarajan Middle School (IMS) students were able to go back to their campus Monday.

The students were put on the schedule because of the lack of adequate available classrooms to accommodate the population.

Principal Derrick Santos expressed his gratitude to the management team and the maintenance division as well as the Facility and Maintenance team under the leadership of Ray Meno and Capital Improvement Project liaison Nik Cruz for resolving most of the major issues that prevented the students from going back to their school.

"Although some renovations will still be ongoing in the coming weeks, we have achieved our goal of opening our doors safely to 100% of our students,” Santos said in a press release.

"We are facing some temporary challenges, but we are committed to delivering quality education to our students. We look forward to having all our students back on campus.”

The Department of Public Works (DPW) bus operations also confirmed to have enough buses ready for the students.

Santos also requested cooperation and understanding of the parents and guardians.

Superintendent Dr. Erik Swanson, PhD. also expressed his gratitude for the IMS community’s collaborative efforts, stating

"The safety of our students is our top priority and we are committed to working together to achieve this goal,” Swanson said. “I thank everyone for their patience, hard work and dedication in these challenging times."

The school will operate on a regular from Monday to Friday
