Airport police ramping up traffic enforcement efforts

Motorists take note, especially those traveling on airport roadways. Airport police will be enforcing traffic on Route 10-A and the Maga'haga Highway throughout the workweek and weekends.
Guam International Airport Authority's acting executive manager, Ricky Hernandez said, "We all need to do our part to keep our roadways safe and encourage responsible driving practices on our island. We ask all motorists to follow traffic rules and most especially drive with care."
The Department of Public Works Office of Highway Safety in partnership with the Guam Police Department's Highway Patrol Division and Guam Fire Department Prevention Bureau has also been conducting a pedestrian safety educational outreach at the Kmart to JFK intersection. It is all to make our island roadways safer.
