Man arrested after allegedly stalking, threatening woman known to him

After allegedly stalking and threatening a woman for months, Nathaniel Fontan Aviles, 37, is facing charges of stalking, attempted unlawful distribution of images and harassment.
According to a magistrate complaint, Guam Police Department officers met with a woman who reported that Aviles had been following her while she was driving in Dededo Sunday. She had received a call from him and her father answered. While on the phone, Aviles said he was in the area and that he was ready to defend himself, allegedly cursing at her father.
The call was disconnected shortly after and they saw him pass by in his gray Jeep.
Police later arrived in the Dededo area and saw Aviles.
The woman also told police that from May 25 to Aug. 20, Aviles had allegedly been sending her multiple messages, threatening to send out nude photos of her, showing up at her workplace, and even calling up and threatening her fiance.
She pleaded with Aviles to stop, even blocking him on her phone and deleting her social media but he continued to contact her.
She told officers she fears for her life because Aviles owns a firearm, and worries that his behavior would get worse, court documents state.
