Three men are facing separate drug possession charges, and one also facing additional family violence and harassment charges for allegedly assaulting and threatening to kill a woman twice, according to magistrates reports filed in the Superior Court of Guam.
On April 29 at 11:05 a.m. Guam Police Department officers met with a woman who said she had received two threatening phone calls from 39 year old BJ Martin Raymond.
She told officers that the day before, she received a phone call from Raymond, saying that he would "kill" her and "burn down the house with everyone inside".
The woman believed he was capable of carrying out the threats to harm her and her family, citing his previous assault against her and Raymond's alleged drug use.
The Defendant was later located in her 2016 Toyota Prerunner vehicle.
After she gave consent to a car search, one of the officers found Raymond’s identification card, a glass pipe with burnt residue, and a baggie filled with a crystallized white substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.
Three months before on January 4 at 12:35 a.m, officers responded to an assault complaint at a residence in Dededo and met with the same woman who reported Raymond had assaulted her.
Appearing to be shaking and crying, she told police, earlier that evening, Raymond struck her face and lost consciousness.
The woman tried to block her face as he continued punching her, then later used a spear rod to strike her legs and body multiple times., court documents state.
A family member inside the home heard the wo
man screaming, intervened and was able to stop him from hitting her.
He had also threatened that he would kill her and she believed that he was under the influence of methamphetamine. Officers saw that the woman had bruising and scratching to her right eye as well as scratches and markings to her left leg and thigh.
Raymond is charged with aggravated assault, family violence and possession of a schedule two controlled substance, all as third degree felonies and harassment as a petty misdemeanor.

The driver Tobias Ray Cruz, 23 , Andrew Tolentino Concepcion and the other male passenger did not have a driver's license.
According to court documents, Cruz told one of the officers that there was an ice pipe inside the car to which he then retrieved the pipe from the driver's side sun visor, and placed it on the driver's seat.
The officer saw a modified glass pipe with a bulbous end which contained a frosty residue suspected to be methamphetamine.
Additionally, when Cruz's pockets were emptied, a small sized resealable baggie with suspected methamphetamine residue fell out.
As for Conception, the officer saw he was holding a yellow Pelican case and appeared to be taking extra care pulling out items from the case. When asked if there was anything of concern within the case, Concepcion said that he had "just a plate", street slang for half a gram, court documents state.
Concepcion then granted the officer consent to search the case and the case had a digital scale, empty resealable baggies, and one reusable baggie with a white crystalline substance.
The substances retrieved from Cruz and Concepcion tested positive for methamphetamine.
