Nick Delgado is an award-winning journalist who first joined the KUAM news team in 2009.

He has been in the news industry for more than 15 years, and is currently the lead anchor for KUAM News Primetime and Managing Director of News Strategy and Development for KUAM Communications.

Nick has worked in multiple broadcast, print, and digital news outlets based in Guam, Central Texas, and New York and New Jersey throughout his career.

He has also been sent on assignment to file reports from the Philippines, Belgium, and along the Mexican border.

Nick is known for his investigative coverage into the massage brothels in Guam that led to a multi-agency government task force being formed to look deeper into the problem.

He was also one of the first reporters’ on-scene during the shooting on Fort Hood, Texas in 2014 that left four dead, including the gunman. His team’s coverage of the tragedy, along with the special coverage during the five-year anniversary of the 2009 deadly shooting on the U.S. Army base got him a Lone Star Emmy and Texas AP awards.

Nick gained more experience working in the No. 1 news market before he returned home.

He currently produces the evening news show for KUAM news and covers the crime and justice beats on Guam.

Nick spends his time outside of the newsroom at the beach, working out, and enjoying the island life with his three boys, Kevin, Qurtis, and Quinn.
