He was one of the boat drivers accused in smuggling Chinese nationals from the CNMI to Guam.

Defendant Jian Feng Li now facing charges in the District Court of the Northern Marianas.

Li was picked up by the feds on Thursday in Guam.

An indictment just unsealed charged him with conspiracy to unlawfully produce an identification document.

It was last August, he along with more than a handful of others was charged in Superior Court of Guam in connection to the rash of foreign nationals illegally dropped off on Guam by boat.

Li allegedly admitted to piloting an inflatable boat from the CNMI and landing at Tanguisson beach. Authorities found him with a woman and an infant.
