A man accused of sexually abusing a little girl has been indicted by a grand jury in the Superior Court of Guam. 36-year-old Vanreick Gumabon was set to answer to the charges in court this week.

The hearing, however, was delayed until next month after his attorney withdrew from the case due to a conflict.

Gumabon faces multiple counts of first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The child, now 14, alleged the abuse started when she was only six or seven, adding the abuse went on for at least two years.
