A man facing charges in connection to a shooting in Hagat is set to admit guilt this week. Defendant Anthony Vincent Ignacio stands accused in a February 2021 shooting where he allegedly told his passenger to shoot another man who was on the road.

Ignacio allegedly saying "Blast him par", then laughing before taking off. Investigators say Ignacio and the alleged victim got into a text messaging feud, making threats toward one another prior to the shooting.

Police say the man who was shot survived.  Ignacio faces charges of guilty by complicit to commit murder and aggravated assault.

Details of his plea deal have not been made public. He is scheduled to appear before Superior Court Judge Maria Cenzon on Monday for a change of plea.
