Early morning robbers wield knife, steal beer
Wielding a knife at a store employee, they allegedly made off with cans of beer.
Thirty-four-year-old Testim Johnny and 19 year old Pitson Nikonas allegedly entered Oka Pay-Less around at 4 a.m. on June 15 in Tamuning and attempted to steal two packs of beer. According to court documents, Johnny exited the store with a pack, while a store employee managed to take back the other from Nikonas.
The employee allegedly followed the pair outside and asked for the other pack of beer. Nikonas then exited the vehicle with a knife and waved it at the employee before driving off, court documents state.
A Guam Police Department Officer later located the pair by the Alupang Beach Towers pavilions drinking the alcohol.
Johnny and Nikonas are both facing charges of Second Degree Robbery with an addition of Special Allegation of Possession and Use of a Deadly Weapon in the Commission of a Felony for Nikonas.
