An earthquake measuring 5.0 in magnitude was recorded at about 5:50 p.m. today, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. 

The quake struck about 15 km northeast of Yigo at a depth of 101.8 km.

There were no reports made to Guam 911 dispatch of damages or injuries from the earthquake and there was no tsunami threat to the Marianas, according to the Guam Department of Homeland Security and Offices of Civil Defense.
