8 COVID-19 cases confirmed, 6 determined to be travel-related

On Liberation Day, the Joint Information Center reported that 8 cases of coronavirus had been confirmed by the Guam Department of Public Health. 186 people were tested for COVID-19 on Monday, with the evaluations determining that of the 8 positives, 6 were travel-related and identified while in quarantine.
The number of active cases on Guam has is 87, with 235 people having been released from isolation. There have been 327 cases in all, and 5 people have passed away.
Community testing will be available on Wednesday at Tamuning Elementary School from 9am-12pm, and Thursday at the Asan-Maina Mayor's Office from 9am-12pm.
