A woman endured two days of beatings and chokings that has led to the arrest of 42-year-old Vince Joseph Chiguina Aguon.

He's now facing two charges each of Family Violence and Strangulation.

Court documents state on Feb. 20, Aguon’s argument with a woman quickly escalated into physical violence. When the woman tried to leave a residence in Umatac, Aguon grabbed the woman by her mouth and squeezed it telling her to shut up and not alert the neighbors.  Aguon allegedly shoved the woman, causing her to fall backward and hit her head and elbows. He then stood over her and choked her until she couldn't breathe.

Aguon prevented the woman from leaving again and the following morning, she woke to him yelling at her. Aguon allegedly grabbed and threw the woman onto a kitchen floor and dragged her into a bedroom before attempting to kick her in the ribs and choke her again.

The woman reported Aguon showed up to her work later that day to give her a thick sweater to conceal her injuries.

When interviewed by police, Aguon said he's never had a physical altercation with the woman and claimed she received the injuries from another person.
