Hundreds of the faithful community are set to come out and honor of the island's patron saint, Santa Marian Kamalen.

Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 9 at 5:45 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica in Hagatna.

The Holy Rosary will begin at 3 p.m., the Nobena at 3:30 p.m., and procession will follow at 4 p.m.

Santa Marian Kamalen is the oldest religious icon on Guam.
Legend has it that she first came to Guam from the depths of the ocean where she was first spotted by a fisherman in Merizo.
She now rests at the head of the Cathedral.
