Convicted murderer A-Last Simiron wasn't properly sentenced
Already sentenced to life in prison A-Last Simiron was back in court today for another sentencing hearing.
During the proceedings it was revealed there was a discrepancy in that he was not properly sentenced for two of the charges he was found guilty of.
Simiron along with Mallo Sally were charged for the 2017 death of Gilbert Alvarez in Mangilao. The two beat him to death and stole his truck.
The additional charges that will be included in the new sentencing won't necessarily have an effect on the amount of time he'll be in jail, because he was already sentenced to life in prison back in June.
Another hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 10 to clear up the discrepancy
