Two underage men allegedly stole beer from a store and went next door to meet another man to drink.

Police responded to the incident in Agana Heights on Nov. 28 where the suspect vehicle was still parked next door at a laundromat.

The store owner told police two men came into the store around noon and took three 12 -packs of beer. When the store owner asked for ID, one of the men shouted, "Yes, we have ID!" and ran out of the store dropping one of the packs of beer.

Court documents state the suspects in the theft were seen getting into the vehicle and fleeing when it parked.

While investigating, police saw Reno Mathus, 18, in the middle of the road. Court documents state he smelled of a strong odor of an intoxicating beverage.


Christian Fredrick Fitim, 18, then approached the officers and yelled, 'What's your problem?"

Tommyson Nikot, 20, also approached the officers staggering in
the street and yelling as well. Fitim and Nikot also smelled of smelled a very strong odor of an intoxicating beverage, according to court documents. Police had to tell Nikot to not walk in the middle of the road.

According to court documents, Fitim told police they did steal the beer and drank it in the laundromat parking lot.
Mathus and Fitim were each charged with retail theft. All three men, including Nikot were charged with Underage Consumption of Alcohol, Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct.
Nikot was charged additionally with Governmental Obstruction.
