Visitor caught with drugs at DOC: 'it fell out of my shoe, but it's not mine'

She was caught trying to smuggle meth into the prison - now she'll be spending some time locked up there. Sharlene Wright, 29, was confined at the Department of Corrections for Promoting Prison Contraband and Illegal possession of a Controlled Substance.
Court documents state Wright regularly visits an inmate on the weekends. On Saturday, she was being searched at the visitors processing center when she was asked to remove her shoes and turn them upside down and shake them.
When she did, a blue transparent resealable bag fell out of the shoe and on to the ground.
The bag contained a white crystallized substance that later tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine.
When police interviewed her later, Wright stated, "It fell out of my shoe, but it's not mine," adding that she didn't know how it got there.
Wright's shoes were also noted to have a loose sole insert slit pockets within the ankle interior walls.
