A sit-down between the Guam Department of Education and the Independent Interscholastic Athletic Association of Guam may be in the works. This after the IIAAG responds to a GDOE invitation asking the group if they would like to join in GDOE sports play in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

IIAAG president Terry Debold writes it would "unreasonable for GDOE to expect a response without providing more information including any proposed schedules." Debold attached two schedules - one with IIAAG and GDOE teams split into two divisions by district, the other with GDOE and IIAAG split into separate divisions.

Debold also wrote that GDOE is a IAAG member through the end of the school year, so they will be anticipated as participants in league schedules.
