Government files more motions in Yona mayor case
New motions are being filed in the case against Yona Mayor Jesse Blas as both parties prepare for the Dec. 2 trial.
The government has filed a motion in limine that includes new information that will be presented during trial. This includes audio and video recorded meetings at the direction of the government between Blas and the FBI's confidential source Brenda who posed as a drug trafficker.
Blas was charged with extortion and bribery for receiving cash bribes in exchange for access to a Yona village cluster boxes to smuggle in meth.
