A drunk student got into a fight with two other students at Okkodo High school today, and police were called in "out of an abundance of caution," according to a Guam Department of Education statement.

Two of the students were transported to the hospital, but their conditions were not released. The altercation broke out during the lunch period. The Guam Police Department was able to intervene along with OHS employees and School Resource Officers.

Superintendent Jon Fernandez said appropriate disciplinary action will be taken once the school investigation is completed.

He said he is "saddened to see alcohol play a part in another school incident," despite a complete ban on all school campuses. Fernandez said he'll meet with the Education Board to discuss ways to strengthen its policies.
