Help available for farms, businesses hurt by Hagibis
Farms that suffered crop loss, and business owners who incurred extra costs for debris clean-up or protective services as a result of Typhoon Hagibis, are urged to submit preliminary damage assessment forms to the Office of Civil Defense by Friday.
Team members from various agencies are assisting OCD with an islandwide preliminary damage assessment. The results will be used to determine what assistance programs, if any, can be brought in.
Teams will be in the field through Friday and will be wearing government-issued identification.
