Inmate charged with aggravated assault after fighting over coffee
A clash over coffee between two detainees at the Hagatna lockup left one suffering from first and second degree burns.
On Saturday morning, detainee Vincent Rodriguez Cepeda was reportedly handing out coffee but became upset when a fellow detainee asked for cream and sugar.
Apparently, he got so upset he picked up the coffee percolator and threw it at his cell. The incident was caught on security footage. Cepeda, 53, was charged with Aggravated Assault.
Last month, Cepeda was sentenced to eight years in prison for second degree robbery as a second degree felony and five years for special allegation of possession or use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.
Back in February, Cepeda was arrested after jumping into a person's car in Hagatna. He had a machete in his hand and demanded cash
