In front of a sold out crowd, Submit VI took over the Dusit Thani grand ballroom and did not disappoint.

One of the highlights was the 40 second match between Jun San Nicolas and Ryan Gomez. San Nicolas took home the Best Submission Award and Bout of the Night for his flying arm bar.

Walking away with he Best Takedown Award was Jarome Cruz for his match with Joey Crisostomo, Jr ending in a DRAW.

It was also a first for Submit featuring a combatives match sponsored by the Guam Army National Guard.  Scotty Eclavea and Kenji Okiyama went the distance with their 12 minute match ending in a draw.

In some of the black belt matches, the main event featured Purebred's Javier Mirelez and Sabre Jiujitsu Head Instructor World Champion Bryant Pangelinan. After 12 minutes it ended in a draw..

One of the anticipated black belt matchups was the bout between Carlson Gracie's Hayato Atalig and Vida BJJ's Trevin Jones, which ended in a draw.

While Purebred's Mike Sanchez managed to secure a triangle against Saipan's Clinton Dela Cruz securing his first victory in Submit.

Celebrating a successful night of fights, Event Organizer Tony Borja says the best is yet to come. "Melchor Manibusan our owner that's the one thing I love about him he dreams bit and he make it happen and so like he wants to go Italy. I kind of want to keep it, try out manila first we went out and do Dubai so that gives us the confidence to do big things, you know Europe is definitely 8is on the radar, assai is definitely something that we can pull off and you know and the good thing is we got contacts all over the world so it's good man," he said.
