Motion to suppress evidence in murder case has error
There's a typographical error in the motion to suppress evidence for murder defendant Brandon Acosta's case.
The item in question is identified as a pair of brown shorts that allegedly are gray.
These clothing items, along with slippers are the evidence that Acosta's attorney William Pole is asking to be suppressed from the new rape charges that he plead not guilty to last month.
In addition, Attorney Pole stated he would be filing a second motion tomorrow morning under seal.
A continued motion hearing for this matter is set for Aug. 21. And a criminal trial set date is still undetermined.
Acosta faces murder and rape charges in the June 2018 death of 15-year-old Timicca Nauta.
