On August 10th right before 11pm GPD officers responded to a report of a man threatening to shoot two people known to him. Officers found a black knife on the man and noticed he was sweating heavily and his eyes were bloodshot and red.

According to court documents, 42-year old Fred Blas, Jr. gave officers consent to search his car. They found an airsoft gun, a backpack that contained three plastic bags of suspected marijuana, and an improvised glass pipe with white residue suspected to be crystal meth.

Blas admitted to smoking ice about two to three weeks ago, but did not disclose the source.

Blas was charged with possession of a schedule two controlled substance as a third degree felony and terrorizing.
