Isaiah Edwards sentenced to 35 years for Andersen murder

Just days after a jury found him guilty of murdering a fellow airman, Isaiah Edwards has learned his fate.
According to KUAM News affiliate KSLA, Edwards will spend 35 years in prison for the March 2018 slaying of Airman 1st Class Bradley Hale at Andersen Air Force Base.
Edwards will be eligible for paroled and also will be dishonorably discharged from the Air Force.

Both airmen were assigned to the 2nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron as Electronic Warfare Journeyman out of Barksdale Air Force Base and were deployed to Guam.
On March 26th of last year, first responders found Hale stabbed to death inside his dormitory on Andersen Air Force Base.
Edwards faced a court-martial in Louisiana for the death of his roommate and claimed self-defense.
He was found guilty on Jan. 17.
