Guam - With just days left before the end of the 32nd Guam Legislature, there will be one final gathering of your senators in legislative session.
Speaker Judi Won Pat said, "We always reserve a couple of days before the end of this term to be able to go into session in case there are bills that we may need to override or we may need to address an emergency situation."
And in this case according to Won Pat the vice speaker has asked that Bill 436 be placed on Friday's session agenda.
The measure as we reported was introduced by Senator Frank Aguon, Jr. as a result of public outcry regarding raises the legislature approved in Public Law 32-208.
If the measure is passed Governor Eddie Calvo would have until Monday to act on it. We should also add that on Monday the 33rd Guam Legislature will also be sworn-in to office.
