Guam - He's a physician, professor of medicine, and past science advisor to two Japanese prime ministers.

But that's just the beginning of Dr. Kiyoshi Kurokawa's resume as he's also heading the investigation of the Fukushima and nuclear incident on behalf of the Japanese Parliament.

UOG president Dr. Robert Underwood invites the island community to listen in as the internationally recognized scholar is scheduled to talk on science, technology, and environmental change as part of UOG's Presidential Lecture Series.

"He's a very compelling speaker and people will not only find it enjoyable and comprehensible but it will also challenge some of our assumptions," he said.

His lecture "Uncertain Times; Changing Principles" starts at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 14 at the UOG Lecture Hall.
