Only 10% of unclaimed tax refunds picked up
Guam - The Department of Administration started the final distribution of unclaimed tax refund checks this week and according to DOA director Benita Manglona only 10% have either been picked up or are in the process of being claimed. She says over 600 checks totaling $626,000 have been claimed since the first batch of names were published three weeks ago. More than 6,000 checks have been sitting at DOA, with some dating back to 2009 totaling $19 million. If you think you're on the list, go to http://governor.guam.gov.
