Korean man sentenced for drugs, will be deported
by Mindy Aguon
Guam - Sung Kwon was sentenced to 37 months behind bars. Kwon received less prison time because he testified against his co-defendant, Jae Chul Shin, who was recently convicted of importing methamphetamine hydrochloride.
The two were caught entering Guam with more than 400 grams of crystal meth that was hidden in a golf bag last June. Kwon was also ordered to be deported back to Korea upon completion of his prison term.
