Guam - District Court Judge John Coughenour has signed a stipulation in former governor Carl Gutierrez and his former running mate Senator Frank Aguon, Jr.'s lawsuit against the Guam Election Commission.   Gutierrez agreed to drop the lawsuit as his legal counsel conflicted out of the case when Aguon didn't want to proceed with the litigation.

The lawsuit was filed after the two lost the gubernatorial bid in 2010 and challenged the results alleging the election was rife with discrepancies.  The judge signed the stipulation with prejudice which means the case cannot ever be filed again in the future.
