Guam - While the public scoping period for the community to review the new and expanded Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement is underway, the Legislative Buildup Committee is hosting an informational briefing to highlight the upcoming events and process regarding the SEIS. There are now seven preliminary alternatives for a live fire training range, which include Route 15a and Route 15b, three alternative locations either on or adjacent to Naval Magazine, with the two new ones at Andersen Air Force Base's Northwest Field and NCTS Finegayan on the northwest coast of Guam.

The information briefing will be hosted by committee chair Senator Judi Guthertz on Monday at 10am in the Legislature's Public Hearing Room.
