AG, police chief meeting about Blue House Lounge
Guam - Attorney General Leonardo Rapadas will be meeting with Chief of Police Fred Bordallo and their respective teams this morning to discuss the Blue House Lounge case and the special investigation of police officers alleged connection to the case. According to a statement from AG's spokesperson Carlina Charfauros, although he has yet to receive an official written request from the Lieutenant Governor's Office regarding the investigation, Rapadas called a meeting between the two entities.
Governor Eddie Calvo along with Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio called for the investigation into cops who may have been connected to the case. Song Ja Cha, who was the owner of the club, was sentenced to life in prison for luring in young girls from Chuuk and then forcing them into prostitution.
Three police officers were implicated during the federal trial.
