Feds seek probation for Eseun

Guam - The federal government is seeking a sentence of probation for a woman who pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit sex trafficking on Guam. Freda Eseun admitted to conspiring with former Blue House Lounge owner Song Ja Cha to bring in Chuukese women to Guam to perform sexual acts.
The feds maintain Eseun provided reliable information and without her cooperation they contend the likelihood of successful prosecution would be in serious doubt. The defense is also asking for a sentence of three years probation, saying Eseun was not a supervisor and was left penniless after working with Cha.
The recommendation meanwhile is in stark contrast to the government's life sentence recommendation for Cha.
