Guam - Both the federal government and the defendants in a major drug trafficking ring case have agreed to continue the trial until next year. A stipulation was filed in the District Court today in the case against Mateo Sardoma Jr, Rudy Sablan and Maria Edrosa.

The three are among a group of people who are accused of organizing a continuing criminal enterprise and conspiring to distribute hundreds of grams of crystal methamphetamine.

According to the stipulation, the trial will occur after April of next year to allow the parties time to review more than 6,000 pages of documents and audio files.
