Guam - Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Barrett Anderson is presiding over a land dispute that's been lingering in court for the last five years. KUAM News first brought you the story back in 2008 of Umatac resident Debbie Quinata who owns land on the historical property at Toguan Bay. Quinata and her neighbor, prominent lawyer David Lujan, filed lawsuit against each other after disagreeing on work done on the easement between their properties.

Lujan sued Quinata and sought a restraining order to prevent the obstruction or interference with the construction of the easement. Quinata filed a counterclaim, alleging Lujan encroached on and obstructed use of her property and damaged ancient artifacts in the process.

The trial is expected to resume next week.
