Guam - The University of Guam received another $100,000 donation to add to its 60th Anniversary Capital Campaign. BankPacific president and CEO Phil Flores presented the check to the college this morning.

He announced, "It shows how much progress the university has made. The graduates that we're putting out there are top notch - two of our senior vice presidents are from the University of Guam. They work very hard, they do very good jobs, and they've been educated very well."

The five-year Capital Fundraising Campaign, which launched in January, intends to raise $30 million by 2017. According to UOG president Dr. Robert Underwood, $1.5 million has been raised to date.
