Delta sees Asia-Pacific growth

Guam - "Building a better airline, not just a bigger one". That was the focus of Jeffrey Bernier's presentation to the Guam Chamber of Commerce Wednesday. Bernier is Delta Airlines Asia Pacific managing director.
He said, "We're going to continue to expand our footprint in Asia. This is the region of growth and we see ourselves growing within the region and that does also include Guam. Additionally we are going to build a premium brand we will continue to invest in the product, continue to invest in the service so you have a better overall customer experience."
Delta led the aviation industry last year in overall rank, on time arrivals, as well as had the lowest number of customer complaints for baggage handling and canceled flights. Delta connects Guam to the rest of the world via Japan. Although Japan and Korea are strong markets, Bernier sees growth potential for china and Southeast Asia.
