Guam - The Guam Waterworks Authority doesn't anticipate island residents to lose water service as Tropical Storm Sanvu passes by. GWA spokesperson Heidi Ballendorf said, "And I just want to reassure the public that we've been working real hard over the last several years to ensure that all of our critical wells, those are our wells that produce 150 gallons a minute or more, primarily the ones up north that service such huge population.

"Those critical wells essential to water delivery have emergency generators 1403 so if there is any kind of a power outage or even a larger power outage, which I don't anticipate would be, but in the event there is the emergency back up generators will automatically will go and we work to continue water service during the storm.
