Guam - A roundtable forum will be held on Monday to discuss the off-island medical referral process. Lawmakers are hoping the discussion with the Guam Medical Referral Office will help residents better understand the services the office provides as many people travel away from Guam for their medical needs.

The Legislative Committee on Healthcare has said the goal of the roundtable is to identify the gaps in the performance and availability of services and determine how they can be addressed. The Guam Medical Referral Office provides services in Manila, Los Angeles, and Honolulu.

The roundtable is scheduled to begin at 6pm Monday at the Legislature's Public Hearing Room in Hagatna.
