Guam - A Superior Court judge has taken Tiyan landowner Benny Crawford's motion to intervene under advisement. Crawford is trying to intervene in a class action lawsuit that was filed by Maria Gange, Jesus Charfauros and Ana Chargualaf against the Ancestral Lands Commission.

The landowners are fighting Guam public law that mandates the transfer of former FAA and Marbo property to Tiyan landowners. The plaintiffs believe the law is unconstitutional and want the court to ensure that just compensation is provided for any property that is taken out of the land bank.

Judge Arthur Barcinas has already issued a temporary injunction restraining the transfer of ancestral property to the Tiyan landowners.
