DYA rioters used makeshift weapons

Guam - More information about that weekend riot at the Department of Youth Affairs we first told you about Monday. Evidently nine clients jumped one detainee. The assailants used makeshift weapons in their attack including a four-foot broken broom stick, a four-foot metal paint brush extension and a three and half foot silver aluminum louver.
A DYA officer tried to intervene to protect the lone detainee. So far only one client has been charged in the incident. 18-year-old Handarson Sony was charged with aggravated assault, assault and rioting.
