Settlement reached with MD Wholesale

Guam - The USEEOC has reached a settlement with MD Wholesale in Tamuning.  A lawsuit was filed against the company for failing to address sexual harassment allegations. A manager at the company allegedly made unwelcome sexual advances toward female employees, frequently made vulgar sexual remarks, and on several occasions engaged in highly offensive physical touching of a sexual nature.

The sexual harassment allegedly was occurring as far back as 2008. A settlement conference was held on Monday and an agreement was achieved but details of what the settlement contains have not yet been disclosed.
