Three indicted on attempted murder charges

Guam - Three men have been indicted on attempted murder charges for allegedly beating 18-year-old Cameron Masnayon on March 18. A Superior Court grand jury handed down the indictment on Tuesday against Daniel Rosal, Michael Gregory Rosal Jr, and William Crisostomo San Nicolas Jr. Daniel and Michael Rosal Jr. have been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and special allegations of possession and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.
San Nicolas is only charged with the aggravated assault and special allegation charges. The three are accused of beating Masnayon in Harmon and leaving him to die.
Masnayon had to be medivaced to Hawaii where he is undergoing a number of surgeries as he sustained severe injuries to his head and face. The Rosal brothers admitted to police that they used a baseball bat to repeatedly strike Masnayon in the head and that they kicked him in the stomach. San Nicolas is accused of holding Masnayon's friend back while the Rosal's were assaulting the victim.
The three are being held on $100,000 cash bail each awaiting an arraignment hearing, which is scheduled for April 4 before Magistrate Judge Alberto Tolentino.
