Edu-Board to interview 3 superintendent candidates
by Mindy Aguon
Guam - The Guam Education Board's search selection committee is expected to conduct interviews with the superintendent candidates on Wednesday. The names of the individuals who applied or who have been selected for an interview have not been revealed and won't be until after the interviews are conducted.
The board is expected to receive a recommendation from the selection committee and further discuss the superintendent position during a meeting on April 5. Board members are hopeful one candidate will garner the six vote minimum so the vacancy can be filled.
The last time the board tried to select a superintendent, both candidates did not garner enough votes by board members, prompting a second search.
